Rooms are clean, staff is quiet and incredibly friendly. Great location in town! Breakfast is a bit lack luster (mostly just carb fuel) but we enjoyed the waffles for sure! Will definitely stay again when we come back to Red Oak. Very affordable, accommodating and homey place to stay.
Very clean hotel. Great prices too. Some of the lower reviews are purposely deceiving. One moron said everything was great, but still gave it a 2 star review because "it didn't serve 'real' breakfast" whatever that even means. The breakfast is literally free and the rooms are under $100 a night. This hotel offers by far more value than most places. It never ceases to amaze me how entitled people are these days.
Very clean hotel located right off the highway. Incredible value for the price and the staff went above and beyond for our stay. They accomadated our needs and had a great breakfast for us to hit the road the next morning. Highly reccomend!
Front desk person not friendly at all when we first arrived. But other staff made up for it later. Room was clean and comfortable. Shampoo and conditioner dispensers in shower plenty of clean towels and washcloths . Good water pressure. Heater good. Mexican restaurant and Pizza Hut within walking distance. Had to back in to fit hot shot trailer in parking lot. Breakfast is minimal. Cereal milk. Orange juice, apple juice, bananas, bread , coffee, plain creamer. Overall good stay.
Very nice hotel especially for the price. Seems to be well kept after being recently renovated. Room 112 had a working fridge and microwave, a window that opened fine, and the bed was soft memory foam. The bathroom was clean, had a sizable bathtub, and even had a heat lamp! We stayed on the ground floor and didn't have any issues with noise. Overall had a good stay, only complaint was there was almost nothing for options at breakfast, just some cereal, toast, and waffles.
The room is very clean and appointed well. Nice TV with lots of channels (very important on long stays). The linen smelled crisp and clean, bed was super comfortable. I never saw the housekeeper in my room. But she kept my room up nicely. Manager/Owner at the front desk was pleasant to talk to.
The outside of the building has been painted grey. The inside has been remodeled. I stayed her 1 night and was pleasantly surprised that we ended up booking an additional night. The Manager was extremely accommodating and had GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Beds were comfy and the showers were AMAZING! The water pressure was great and there was a water softener. Everything was clean and the Continental Breakfast was adequate. Coffee, Waffle maker, cereal toast and muffins. Enough to get you on your way. Would definitely stay again!
What a great little place to stay. My room was beyond what I was expecting for the price. My hosts were great. There was a smoke alarm chirping the first night and it was resolved instantly. There are many good food options or bars very close. I had a great time here in Red Oak and Iowa welcomed me with open arms. Was going to just stay one night and ended up doing two. Thanks again guys!
